◆ submitDispatchPkt()

virtual void HSADevice::submitDispatchPkt ( void *  raw_pkt,
uint32_t  qID,
Addr  host_pkt_addr
)
inlinevirtual

submitDispatchPkt() accepts AQL dispatch packets from the HSA packet processor.

Not all devices will accept AQL dispatch packets, so the default implementation will fatal.

Reimplemented in GPUCommandProcessor.

Definition at line 65 of file hsa_device.hh.

References fatal, and SimObject::name().

Referenced by HSAPacketProcessor::processPkt().

◆ submitVendorPkt()

virtual void HSADevice::submitVendorPkt ( void *  raw_pkt,
uint32_t  queue_id,
Addr  host_pkt_addr
)
inlinevirtual

submitVendorPkt() accepts vendor specific packets from the HSA packet processor.

This method should be overriden in any HSADevice that acceptes vendor specific packets, and should interpret the packet according to the vendor's specifications. Not all HSA devices will accept vendor specific packets, so the default implementation will fatal.

Reimplemented in GPUCommandProcessor.

Definition at line 79 of file hsa_device.hh.

References fatal, and SimObject::name().

Referenced by HSAPacketProcessor::processPkt().

◆ translateOrDie()

void HSADevice::translateOrDie ( Addr  vaddr,
Addr paddr
)
protected

HSADevices will perform DMA operations on VAs, and because page faults are not currently supported for HSADevices, we must be able to find the pages mapped for the process.

Grab the process and try to translate the virtual address with it; with new extensions, it will likely be wrong to just arbitrarily grab context zero.

Definition at line 97 of file hsa_device.cc.

References fatal, PioDevice::sys, System::threads, and MipsISA::vaddr.
